have light on-shore

Westside will stay with light winds and off-shore
conditions most of the day. There
is still a High
Surf Advisory posted
for the south facing shores of the sland of Maui.
The above
advisory-level surf will stick
around today. The Bay will be
flat throughout the day and with
light off-shore wind
conditions and the north shores will
be doing the same throughout the day
with light on-shore winds! The south shores
will be increasing throughout the day and
the west shores will be doing the
same throughout the day with light on-shore wind
conditions. The tide (based on
Lahaina-side) will be low (-0.1)
around 6:27am and then rise to a
high (2.1) at around 2:47pm.
A series
of swells originating in
the southern hemisphere
will maintain surf
heights near or above
the high surf advisory
threshold of 8 feet
along south facing
shores through Saturday,
before diminishing
Sunday and Monday.
Elsewhere, small north
and northeast swells
will cause a slight bump
in surf heights along
north and east facing
shores during the next
couple of days.
.Check the
Maui Windcam
(located at Kanaha Beach, on our
North shore) for updates on the wind
conditions.
Next surf report
and forecast will be at 6am,
tomorrow. Get another wave and a hui
